The proposed casino is a major local investment that will provide jobs and opportunities for the Elmont and Floral Park communities while protecting and improving their quality of life. This world class entertainment destination will:

- Create at least 3,450 construction jobs and 5,500 full-time permanent, local jobs – with 12,000 jobs over all for the entire community.

- Generate $200 million or more in State and Nassau County public revenues to improve school districts.

- Revitalize Hempstead Turnpike, helping to attract a supermarket, movie theater, and other businesses.

- Promote green open spaces and relieve chronic drainage and flooding problems”
